Indigenous Services | UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs and UniSC Moreton Bay, Petrie Level 5, $77,710 to $87,573 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time, ongoing appointment The Opportunity You will implement strategies that promote the participation, success, and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. You will support prospective students in making informed decisions about their education and career paths, as well as delivering and monitoring initiatives that encourage students to pursue preparatory, undergraduate, and postgraduate studies.

You will: engage the Community and Future Students and University teams to grow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander access and participation; deliver activities in support of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement and Education Plans across the UniSC footprint; and contribute to Buranga Centre's planning processes, working parties and committees as a key member of the Community and Future Students role. About you: Your extensive experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students throughout their academic journeys is a cornerstone of your success. You will be a dedicated advocate for the Buranga Centre, championing it as a vital resource for student success and Indigenous advancement across the university.
Your strong interpersonal and organisational skills allow you to thrive both independently and within a team environment. You excel in engaging with a diverse range of individuals, effectively prioritising tasks to meet deadlines, and maintaining confidentiality. You consistently demonstrate initiative and sound independent judgment. Additionally, your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to prepare precise reports and documentation for management with a high level of accuracy.
