Stowe Australia one of Australia's largest Electrical & Communications Contractors is looking to engage the services of a Communications / Telecommunications Technician to work in its Client Services Department.Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate field works efficiently.Maintain effective communication with customers.Work in a fast-paced environment across various customer sites.Preferred qualifications & skills:Telecommunications Industry Experience: Preferably in critical environments.Construction of Communication Racks and Active Network Equipment.Installation of Tie and Patch Cabling.Experience with Cutting Over / Changing Active Communications Equipment.ACMA Open Cabling Registration with structured fiber endorsements.Fiber Optic Cabling Skills: Preparation, Splicing, and Termination.OTDR Testing and Fiber Commissioning.Unrestricted Driver's License.Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.It would be also highly desirable to have experience and qualifications with:NV1 Security ClearanceCert III TelecommunicationsUnrestricted Electrical LicenceRemuneration and package will be developed depending on abilities and experience.All applicants need to hold the right to work in Australia.
