Mine Site Technologies Pty Ltd – Gladstone QLD
At MST, our Communications Technicians are an integral part of our customer-facing operations, providing service and support to customers both onsite and in our workshops. Our technicians work across our MST product suite and third-party integrated technologies, serving our Surface and Underground mining customers. You will have the opportunity to work both on site and in our Gladstone Workshop.
Typical daily tasks include:
Install and maintain radio frequency (RF) equipment. Install and maintain Wi-Fi Network Solutions. Read and write RF transmission and reception systems. Deliver RF Solutions including Coaxial Cable Termination. Testing and splicing fibre optic cables. Fault finding in all types of communications systems. Bench repairs on electronic equipment. Everyone at MST is responsible for safety, and you will ensure a culture and practice of safety compliance is maintained on all worksites.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Certificate III in Electronic and Communications or equivalent. 2 - 3 years on-the-job experience. Focused on delivering quality work to achieve customer satisfaction. Working knowledge of communications technology and the mining industries (desirable). Good time management and punctuality. You will already have or be ready to complete:
Working at Heights certificate. Tower Rescue or equivalent. A valid and clear Police Check. To Apply:
