About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has a great opportunity for Communication Technicians to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that provides data installation on a wide range of customer sites and installations. Working on predominantly government & defence projects, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
Fibre optic cabling installation, termination and fit offs.
Communications rack set up and installations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to enhance performance.
Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs and provide tailored solutions.
Document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.
Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations in all tasks.
About You
To join our team, you will have an open registration cabling license with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have;
Certificate lll in telecommunications is desirable
Experience in defence or commercial and industrial works
Defence clearance is beneficial
Current driver's license
Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
Execute work that is of a high standard
A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
