About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Technician to join our Electrical Construction team based in Brisbane.
As one of our Communications Technicians your tasks will include, but not be limited to: Hands on installation of commercial communication and security systems Assisting with commissioning and trouble-shooting of newly installed systems Rack building Cable pulling & terminations, including Fibre splicing Installation of active equipment e.g.
Switches and WAPs Meticulous and tidy installations to high standards set by the team About You Are you the person CV needs?

An accomplished communications/ security installation technician with a strong track record of integrated system installation.
Fault finding ability across a diverse range of systems.
Have specialised and have experience in Fibre, Cat 6/6A certified systems.
Experience working on Dete communications projects desirable.
A passion for technology and problem solving and the ability to install and integrate system components from several different manufacturers, drawing upon your knowledge of the latest products (and their connections) within the industry.
Knowledge of specifically CommScope (Krone), Systimax, Molex and Siemon technologies would be beneficial.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
An attitude that demonstrates a customer focus and pride in your work Experience on large commercial construction project and sites.
Great attention to detail and a good understanding of computer networks.
