As the Communications Specialist reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, you will have a pivotal role in driving the corporate affairs strategy. Your role will involve working closely with the business to develop and implement communication strategies focused on enhancing Nestlé's reputation and engaging stakeholders with our business activities, purpose, and values. Additionally, you will be instrumental in fostering our desired culture through the implementation of strategic and impactful communication initiatives.
A day in the life of... Partner with internal stakeholders to create and implement proactive internal and external communications plans and campaigns across Oceania.Develop and manage content for both internal and external channels.Drive employee engagement on internal digital channels, including content creation and implementation of channel strategy.Assist with planning and executing internal campaigns and events, and a range of employee engagement activities.Enhance external engagement through proactive community relations and local media outreach for Nestlé's community programs, sponsorships, and employee volunteering.Support community involvement by partnering with factory teams to engage with local media, stakeholders, and government activities.Develop visual communication materials for the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team and contribute to the creation and management of visual resources.Work collaboratively across the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team to deliver an effective, agile, and integrated corporate affairs service.What will make you successful 3-5 years of experience in supporting and delivering communications strategies.Degree in Communications or business-related discipline.Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and engaging communications on a range of platforms.An interest in visual communication and the ability to create simple graphics and videos will be an advantage.Results-oriented with rapid prioritisation, strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with new & emerging communication technologies.Ability to build and maintain a strong cross-functional network.Experience with intranet management, Viva Engage, Poppulo, and Canva highly regarded.Full Australian working rights and applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
