The Linkforce Communications division specialises in the construction and installation of communications towers and wireless telecommunication equipment installation and commissioning.
We are currently seeking communications riggers or constructions trade personnel with transferable experience, who are looking for a new challenge and would like to build a career in the telecommunications industry.
THE ROLE As a Communications Rigger you will assist with the construction of communication towers.
Initially these are assembled in our Welshpool workshop, then transported and erected on site.
This can be in either metro or regional locations.
Your duties will include: Completing all As-built, Hand-Over documents, and detailed Design/Construction Packs Performing rigging and dogging works for various size cranes and loads Underground conduit installation, concrete works, and foundation excavation Installing, maintaining, and repairing external telecommunications equipment Installing, maintaining, and upgrading of telecommunications headframes and tower steelwork Construction of telecommunications structures ABOUT YOU We are seeking candidates with sound rigging experience, ideally with exposure to the communications industry.
Alternatively, we will consider those with relevant trades experience that may looking to switch industries.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Confident and comfortable Working at Heights Construction trade backgrounds, such as Plumbers, Carpenters, Roof Plumbers and Glaziers is advantageous.
Rigger with a WorkSafe High-Risk Work Licence - RB, RI or RA Construction White Card Australian Drivers Licence – C Class Work at Heights Certificate IN RETURN This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the telecommunications industry and join the dynamic Linkforce Communications Team as we embark on an exciting phase of growth.
