About the Role Reporting to the Senior Communications Advisor, the successful candidate will implement proactive communications across multiple channels to promote the Talison brand and its social licence to operate. This role offers the opportunity to work creatively at the forefront of the clean energy transition.
As Communications Officer (Content Creator), you will develop and manage content to support Talison Lithium's communication strategy, ensuring key messages reach stakeholders effectively. The role can be residential (Greenbushes-based) or hybrid (combination of Greenbushes and Perth).
Responsibilities include: Develop and produce high-quality content, including videos, articles, social media posts, infographics, posters, and newsletters, in alignment with the company's brand and messaging.Design graphics for content, such as posters and infographics, and support website visuals.Collaborate with internal departments to create content, including updates, announcements, and team highlights.Plan and generate video content, including scripting and storyboarding, to effectively convey the core brand message across all platforms.Capture onsite content, including interviews, photos, and video footage, during scheduled visits to the Greenbushes Lithium Operation.Coordinate third-party video and photoshoots onsite.Write clear, engaging copy for internal and external audiences, adjusting tone and style for various platforms.Assist in managing the company's social media presence by planning, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple platforms.Monitor engagement metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies to optimise reach and engagement.Support social media monitoring and manage emerging reputational risks.About the Candidate Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; or proven experience with digital content creation, including social media management and multimedia production (photography and videography).Current Drivers Licence.High level of photographic / graphic design skills.High level of written and verbal communication skills.Experience in media and communications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Desktop publishing and design skills, including proficiency in Squarespace, Adobe Photoshop, Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and social media platforms.Some of the many benefits of working with Talison include: Flexible working environment.Be home every night with a family friendly roster.Income protection insurance.Life Insurance for company superannuation employees.Competitive parental leave policy.Salary sacrifice options for remote area housing, motor vehicles and superannuation.Participation in site performance-based incentive scheme.Supporting a diverse workforce Talison strongly encourages applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of work experience.
