About the role...
The role is responsible for leading and implementing the brand's communications strategy, focusing on PR and Media, Influencer Marketing, Social Media, Copywriting, and ESG marketing. Based in our global HQ of Torquay, the Communications Manager will enhance the brand's visibility and reputation, engage with target audiences, and support overall marketing objectives. Day to day activities include:
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, media inquiries, interviews, and social media content. Coordinate with external PR agencies and partners to ensure consistent messaging. Identify and collaborate with influencers to promote the brand and its products. Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand values and marketing goals. Lead the development and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms. Manage Social Media Specialist and together, create and curate engaging content to drive brand awareness and audience engagement. Write, edit, and proofread content for various marketing channels. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style. Develop and implement marketing strategies that highlight the company's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. What we are searching for...
You will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field with significant experience in a marketing, public relations, or communications environment. You will possess strong leadership and team management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with social media management and influencer marketing is imperative for the role, combined with your ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans. You will be connected to the surf lifestyle and want to combine your passion with your career.
