Communications & Engagement Coordinator Do you love content creation?
Are you passionate about inspiring internal teams & driving engagement? STRAND's Retail Operations team is seeking a Communications & Engagement Coordinator to execute the brand's internal communications strategy to ensure alignment & engagement with the retail teams.
This role is crucial to STRAND, as we place great importance on effective internal communication.
Drawing on your content creation expertise, you will craft engaging content across STRAND'S internal platforms, ensuring consistency with STRAND's tone of voice and brand guidelines.
This role is responsible for developing impactful content that aligns teams with the core purpose of the business, establishing clear communication frameworks, and ensuring the content promotes engagement and alignment.
What You Will Be Doing Execute the brand's internal communication plans that support business objectives, focusing on People and Culture, Visual Merchandising (VM), and Retail Operations.Write, edit, and produce content that is in line with brand guidelines for the brand's communication platform.Work closely with leadership, Retail Ops, HR, and VM teams to gather insights and ensure communications are aligned with company initiatives and brand personality.Plan and execute internal campaigns that drive awareness and participation in key programs or initiatives, including learning and development opportunities.Create a communication calendar that is in sync with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key training objectives.
Ensuring templates are built, content is delivered and feedback is obtained.Gather feedback from stakeholders and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies to provide data-driven insights to be used for future improvements.Assist in creating and delivering timely, effective communication during crises or major business changes, ensuring transparency and trust within the team.Create and produce content for seasonal retail meetings.
Support meetings (e.g., Holiday conference) in person.Who You Are BA in Communications/Media Studies or related field, highly regarded3+ years experience in internal communications, employee engagement or similar position, preferably within the retail industryExperience with content management systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.Proficiency in the use of creative building tools such as Canva, Articulate or InDesign.Experience in video creation.Proven ability to execute engaging and impactful communication messagingIf you have strong relationship building skills, a flair for content creation & experience working within Internal Communications or employee engagement, please apply now!
