We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified applicant for the role of Communications and Marketing Officer at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery. We are looking for an experienced team player who is open to learning new skills and contributing ideas. This role offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in diverse subject areas, from contemporary art to the rich heritage of the local area.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing communications, social media and digital marketing with varied experience working on campaigns for events, exhibitions, public programs or other projects. In this role you will develop, implement, and deliver marketing strategies and creative content across all media (press, print and digital) to elevate brand awareness to attract, engage and grow our audiences.
This position will suit a marketing and communications professional, with a minimum of three years' work experience, who is looking to expand their career in the arts and culture sector. We require someone with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a busy, creative environment. You will have a passion for the arts and growing the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum brand.
