Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Communications and Media Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in promoting our mission and values. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for enhancing the visibility of RFBI. The Communications and Media Manager will oversee our internal and external communications strategies, manage media relations, and coordinate corporate events working closely with the Chief Marketing Office.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic media plans to align with organisational goals. Create and distribute media releases, pitch stories to target media, and build media relationships. Manage media subjects in accordance with RFBI's Media Policy and Communications Plan. Develop and implement the annual communications plan and produce key corporate publications. Create and manage communication plans for projects and changes, including capital development. Oversee and update content on RFBI's intranet to ensure relevance and engagement. Plan, execute, and manage corporate events and conferences to meet objectives. Prepare monthly reports on communication effectiveness, analyse staff engagement, and review industry trends. To be successful: Recognised qualifications in communications or media. Extensive experience in creating engaging content, media releases, and managing issues. Proven experience in community consultation for capital development projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to provide insights and develop plans. Project management skills, including managing multiple projects and coordinating with departments. Exceptional oral and written communication, with the ability to build strong relationships. Excellent organisational skills, time management, and the ability to handle competing demands.
