Working closely with the QA team the Grain Handler is responsible for maintaining high standards in the intake and transfer of raw materials to the silo complex.
This role will include:
Unloading TrucksSafe operation of machinery and equipmentGrain handling related activitiesRecording and entering weights from weighbridgeStoring and protecting grain in silosGeneral housekeeping activities on site including maintaining site hygiene in accordance with Company policies and proceduresIn addition, key requirements in applying for this role are:
Forklift Licence is preferredPrevious grain handling experience as well asknowledge of commodities E.G Grains & Lupins.Knowledge of Safety & GMPAbility to communicate professionally in writing and verballyBasic computer skills including data entryAll correspondence will be dealt with in strict confidence.
