Location: Initially Chennai, India then moving to site in Australia, Karratha
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-4 months in India; 12 months (renewable on agreement) in Australia
Rotation: 75 / 21 days
Accommodation / Flights / Visa: Provided for both locations
Role Description Mission: Ensure the execution of the head office activities concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run, training, operation and handing over of the plant to the Client according to contractual requirements and project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge and addressing of Australian Regulation and Permits relevant to Fertilizer industry for Commissioning and Start-Up Phases. Knowledge of Fertilizer Industry Safety Standards and Requirements. Advise on documentation required for regulatory approvals in Western Australia (State approvals) and Federal Approvals. Liaise with Owner representatives, Government Agencies, Technical Disciplines, Planning and Scheduling, Construction and Commissioning Teams and other identified stakeholders. Ensure Quality of submissions (Documentation) is maintained via engagement of all stakeholders. Advise management on compliance requirements for the state of WA and federal agencies. Review contractual documentation and verify engineering documents. Take part in project planning and scheduling. Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, training, operation and handing over procedures/manuals. Review the test run (performance test) procedures and the operating manuals. Assist Services Purchasing and Subcontracting Department for the definition of subcontractors scope of work. Support the HSE Manager for the aspects falling within his area of responsibility. Participate in HAZOP review meetings. Ensure the preparation and checking of the Purchase Requisitions and Technical Evaluation. Review the 3D Model for compliance with the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and operation requirements. Define commissioning Systems and hand over priorities. Ensure the verification of the KPI during the home office activity. Qualifications: The candidate does not need to have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering but will need a bachelor's degree in any industry.
