Commercial Support Officer

Our client URGENTLY requires a Commercial Officer for a 6 months + Contract in Cairns or Darwin.
The Commercial Officer will ensure the commercial framework of SPO governance adhere to Defence procurement legislation and that the schedule is maintained with all commercial obligations being met on time.
The Commercial Officer will have a particular focus on ensuring the financial and commercial processes for seaworthiness remediation are synchronised with the engineering and sustainment resources to allow efficient service delivery within the limited timeframe.
Skills and Experience required include: A minimum of a diploma-level qualification in contract management, commercial law, financial management, or a related field.
Experience and qualifications in Defence procurement activities including ASDEFCON suite of contracting templates.
Deliver efficient and timely commercial advice and support to the Commonwealth organisations and lead the commercial team.
Must have current (minimum) NV1 security clearance !
