The Commercial Strategy Analyst will support the Commercial Strategy & Planning Managers in the development of the customer category strategy and take on a unique opportunity of ownership of Commercial responsibilities for designated brands in the portfolio.

Main responsibilities: Analysis to enable the development and delivery of the commercial strategy and plan (account standards, strategic objectives) and customer category strategy in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams as part of the annual brand and customer planning process.
Generating insights to share with the Commercial Strategy & Planning Managers and brand teams to input into the gate process and launch planning for NPD; including the creation of inspirational customer sell stories for our NPD which are aligned with customer priorities and strategy.
Alongside the Commercial Strategy & Planning Manager, partner with our Sales Team to develop analysis and insights to create compelling range reviews and Joint Business Plans (JBP) to drive improvement for Sanofi brands in store.
Critical input to the cross-functional working that enables a clear commercial diagnostic of performance (competitiveness, plan delivery and executional effectiveness) so as to isolate and subsequently lead the creation of necessary interventions and initiatives that improve performance.
About you Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field ie.
Marketing, Business Management.
Experience: Experienced in creating insights across various data sets and visualising data/insights tailored to different audiences – skilled in storytelling.
Experience in consumer-centric organisations (FMCG industry a plus) with prior roles in Insights, Trade Marketing, Sales, or Marketing.
Proven advanced analytical skills – translate data into insights and insights into actions and strategies.
Soft and Technical Skills: Experience with IRI/Nielsen/IQVIA/Quantium preferred.
Commercial acumen, financial acumen and experience in analysis to derive insight.
Proven ability to navigate complex situations and challenge the status quo with a can-do attitude.
Self-reliant, decisive and resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast-moving, swiftly changing environment.
Proven willingness to take ownership, accept accountability for results, deliver, share success and develop high levels of performance within the team.
Workload planning and task prioritisation/time management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be impactful and assertive.
