Exciting opportunity for a junior lawyer to work on capital transactions, energy transition, waste and hydrogen projects and finance transactions.The teamOur partner, Ron Eames and special counsel, Grace Wimberley are looking for a passionate property lawyer to join the thriving property team.The team works across a range of capital transactions, energy transition projects, waste and hydrogen projects and finance transactions (project, corporate and property). The clients the team works with include international and domestic renewable energy developers, listed real estate investment trusts, large commercial property owners, property developers and hotel and resort owners.This is a unique opportunity to reap the benefits of working in a diverse property practice alongside senior lawyers who are passionate about fostering a collaborative and supportive culture, with a focus on ensuring that all team members are given the opportunity to meet their personal goals.The roleIn joining the team you will be afforded the opportunity to further develop your career working across a range of transactions including:Acquisitions and disposals of real estate (commercial, industrial and retail)Hotels and resorts transactionsEnergy transition/renewable energy projects including wind, solar & battery and waste to hydrogen projectsJoint venturesTitling advice for residential and commercial property developmentsEnvironmental offset arrangementsInfrastructure agreementsRegulatory approvalsForeign Investment approval advice and applicationsWhilst a Brisbane based role you can expect to be involved in transactions across Australia and with not only Australian but also overseas clients.Your skills and experienceThe ideal candidate will be passionate about working with property clients and more specifically will possess some, if not all, of the following:1-2 years PAEExperience practising as a property lawyer with a keen interest in expanding your practiceStrong drafting skillsYou must be comfortable working closely with clientsCapable of juggling multiple matters and prioritising effectivelyExcellent commercial acumenStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-driven and ability to meet deadlinesWillingness to undertake pro bono work as requiredWho we areHolding Redlich is a large national commercial law firm with offices across Australia.
