What will your role be? Our Commercial Planning & Operations Manager sits within the Commercial Effectiveness team and intersects across four key functions within the market including Sales, Finance, Marketing & Demand Planning and reports to the Head of Commercial Effectiveness. The role encompasses two primary areas: commercial planning and operations.

Coordinate and influence commercial and marketing leaders to align on what can be effectively implemented by the commercial team, ensuring that performance metrics are accurately represented and understood by the Commercial Leadership team; Lead the definition of outlet standards, outlet segmentation, insights and analytics, data standards, omni channel coverage strategy, measuring outlet execution & performance management routines; Lead the area of sales operations including the evolution of sales effectiveness processes including optimising commercial processes, particularly around shopper & innovation as well as leading the Sales Incentive Plan process; Drive the performance analysis and reporting program, to ensure accurate, insightful performance data is available and identify areas for course correction if required to ensure an effective sales team; Lead a team of direct and indirect reports, both in the local market and overseas to deliver both benefit for Diageo and to develop future leaders for Diageo. What will you bring to the table? Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in commercial planning, operations, or a related role within a fast-paced business environment; Proven track record of developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive growth; Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights; Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and performance management; Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in commercial planning tools, CRM systems, and data analytics software; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
