A real endeavour, driven by you Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
Demonstrated understanding and/or experience in the identification/mitigation of procurement risks; preparation of procurement advice; sourcing/tender development; probity; evaluation; and contract management.
Demonstrated experience undertaking complex, high risk, high value contracts.
A commercial awareness, highly developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, ability to work to tight timeframes and independently (with appropriate supervision), knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies are highly valued.
Successful completion of Defence specific Commercial courses such as: Awareness of Probity in Defence e Learning, Performance Based Contracting Awareness e Learning; ASDEFCON (Complex Materiel) Vol 2; CRT Module 2: ASDEFCON Technical Data / Intellectual Property; CRT Module 5: ASDEFCON Liability would be highly desirable.
