We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.
An exciting opportunity exists to join our Federation Project team.
Having secured a funding solution for the Project in May 2023, we've started mobilising to site.
Federation is one of the highest-grade base metals development projects in Australia The Federation deposit hosts high-grade zinc, lead, and gold mineralisation and is located in 15 kilometres south of the central-west township of Nymagee.

Location This full-time role is based at the Federation mine site.
We are proud to offer a family-friendly and flexible Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) roster , with a choice of either 5/3,4/3 or 8/6 schedule that supports your work-life harmony.
For those who prefer to stay on-site during their roster, comfortable camp accommodation is provided, ensuring you have everything you need to feel at home while you're at work.
Your Role To provide administrative and accounting support to the Commercial department, as well as assist the department in achieving goals and serving our customer's needs.
Key responsibilities: Compilation of weekly and monthly reports including quality review Provide support with work on bank recs, credit card management, journals, purchase orders and other month end tasks Tracking month end compliance with timetable Assisting with tenders/contract award through management of Tender responses and collating he information for review.
Preparing for upcoming tenders through preparation of tender documents and Contract Approvals Form Coordinating desktop support activities for IT Prepare and analyse cost/capital and productivity reports Manage the asset process from project creation, reporting and capitalisation Reconcile and manage the Capital WIP file month to month Managing effective use of available resources, including own time, in support of the delivery of the Commercial Department Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Commercial Manager or Senior Mine Accountant Ensuring own Health & Safety as well as that of all other workers, identifying and maintaining safe work practices and completing all required safety training.
About You A Minimum of three years relevant experience in an accounting or administrative capacity within a commercial team Accounting or Business qualifications highly regarded The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively Flexibility in your approach and the ability to identify and add value where required Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency Microsoft Excel experience and knowledge at an intermediate to advanced level Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence Pronto Experience or comparable finance system (desirable) A sound understanding of basic IT hardware and software (such as Office Suite programs) Why work for us?
