About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a high calibre experienced Commercial Manager to join our Resource & Industrial's division. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Business Development team to develop effective strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding the client base as well as develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share - aligned to overall commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with high value clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
Identify revenue and margin optimisation, including pursuing of new business opportunities.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
Collaborate with the BD team to develop effective strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding the client base.
Contract Negotiation and Management - negotiate and finalise contracts with high value clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions are achieved for both parties.
Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and addressing any deviations or issues.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract accuracy and mitigate potential risks.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share - aligned to overall commercial strategy.
Analyse data, market trends, and client feedback to identify areas for value creation and optimize business performance.
Develop pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness while maximizing profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and corporate teams.
You lead and develop the BPA to achieve business objectives and outcomes.
Provide guidance to operations and corporate teams, assisting in achievement of group strategy including transformation, innovation.

Skills and Qualifications

CA, MBA or CPA qualified.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
