About UsUGL is seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead and oversee the commercial operations within our Resources & Energy West portfolio. This is a key leadership position based in Perth, responsible for driving commercial excellence, optimising contract performance, and contributing to the division's success.
The RoleReporting to the General Manager, Resources & Energy West, the Commercial Manager will:
Provide strategic commercial leadership across a diverse portfolio of contracts and projects.Provide general leadership to the Resources & Energy West portfolio as part of the business unit leadership team.Lead and support pre-contract commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.Lead and support post-contract commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.Drive the development, implementation, and management of commercial strategies and processes.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, policies, and legal requirements.Monitor and manage commercial performance, risk, and profitability.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.Mentor and guide a team of commercial professionals to achieve high performance including pre-contract, subcontract, and post-contract.About YouYou are an experienced and commercially astute leader with a proven track record in complex projects within the resources, energy, or construction industries. Your qualifications and experience include:
