This position will be the driving force behind preparing and delivering winning commercial proposals for the Subsea Division.
You will expertly identify and mitigate risks during the tender process, then ensure a smooth handover to the projects team.
As an ambassador for MMA, you will represent us across various market sectors.
Your leadership will come into place as you build solid technical relationships and engage stakeholders, while turning proposals into successful awards.
This role is based at our Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay.
Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Management, or another relevant field linked to offshore energy industry is desirable. Essential Experience Advanced commercial acumen.Contract negotiation and management experience.Proven industry experience in at least 1 of; subsea oil and gas, renewables, marine / civil maintenance, govt / defence or environment & stabilisation. What do we need from you? Ability to identify commercial opportunities and risk, develop or support the development of a commercial business case, and develop commercial reasoning to support business acquisition and delivery.Proven ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment with high performance expectations.Ability to think conceptually and uses knowledge of theory or of past trends to identify situations and acknowledge outstanding issues or concerns.
Monitors the environment to identify gaps between what should be and what is.Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent writing skills.Exhibit strong teamwork skills – displaying a well-developed initiative to be proactive.Initiate action and adapt to change.Ability to accurately develop cost estimates, including actively engaging supply chain partners.Ability to prioritise work and deliver work in a timely manner.Ability to communicate to clients in a professional and respectful manner.Proven project management and operational experience, within a marine environment (desirable).
