Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for providing legal support and advice as part of the Legal Team to the wider Frasers Property Australia business in the provision of services that assist the company with asset management and delivering property developments across their full lifecycle.

As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include: Construction and consultancy including preparation, drafting, reviewing, and providing advice on construction services and consultancy documents Review and finalise development documents such as infrastructure, authority, and utility agreements Assist with land acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and developments Leasing including reviewing and amending term sheets, preparation of legal briefs, reviewing & negotiating amendments, and providing advice during developments Negotiate confidentiality and exclusivity agreements based on risk parameters Assist and work closely with the General Manager and legal on major projects across the group Work closely with new business representatives to manage customer expectations in the context of appropriate legal risk Filing management and updating of matter management system Manage approvals and document execution with DocuSign; confirm executed documents for completeness and compliance Review and manage legal costs and reports; assist in approval and tracking of legal costs Provide legal knowledge updates and research assistance. Collaborate with external legal advisors for timely advice You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a current practising certificate A minimum of 6 years PQE in Property/Real Estate obtained in mid to top tier law firm or in-house environment Experience with leasing and understanding core leasing principles Financial aptitude and analytical skills Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Highly developed commercial acumen #J-18808-Ljbffr
