W3Global is seeking a talented Commercial Lawyer to join one of their leading client's dynamic firm in their Sydney office. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing strategic, high-quality, and commercially-focused legal advice to support the growth and success of our global technology business.
What you'll be doing
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
Advising on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
Providing guidance on regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and data privacy
Supporting the delivery of new products and services by identifying and mitigating legal risks
Contributing to the development and maintenance of legal templates, policies, and processes
Mentoring and supervising more junior members of the legal team
What we're looking for
3+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, ideally gained at a leading law firm or in-house legal team
Strong technical legal expertise across a broad range of commercial practice areas
Proven ability to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented advice to internal stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior lawyers
A commercial mindset and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
