They provide critical equipment solutions to some of the world's largest mining, energy, construction and industrial organisations. Position Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the General Manager Western Region and the Group Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial insights and financial reporting to the executive team that delivers innovative, proactive and insightful decision support. This includes consolidated reporting through to the wider group. Your role will oversee project accounting, business and cashflow reporting, financial modelling, customer contracts and tender support, strategic analysis, and partnering with your General Manager and other divisions with the goal of guiding the company in achieving its financial goals and maximising its profit. As Head Office is located on the East Coast of Australia, you will be a key commercial member of the WA regional leadership team.
Desired Skills and Experience
As a qualified finance professional (CA/CPA or studying towards), you will have experience in providing commercial analysis and advice to senior leadership as a finance business partner. This would ideally be within the industrial equipment, resources, energy, and construction sectors or a business-to-business branch network. You will provide strategic analysis, financial modelling and identify opportunities to maximise profit through sales growth, continuous improvement, implementation of new technology and business process optimisation initiatives. The Commercial Finance Manager will also lead and prepare key customer contracts and commercial tenders. Finally, you will have experience in successfully coaching key internal stakeholders and operational leaders on building their financial and commercial acumen.
