Commercial Excellence Lead The newly created Commercial Excellence Lead is responsible for continuous improvement in the execution of strategies across the Australian business. They will drive efficiency by developing and analysing reports, find and bring insights to life, create strategies for the sales team to execute and develop new opportunities for the business. They work collaboratively with the entire Australian business to create strategies and programs that drive sales and build the relevance of Ascensia with our key customers and partners. As a critical member of the leadership team there will be opportunities to work on product expansion, partnerships and business opportunities.
Location: Hybrid, based from the Sydney office
What you will be doing: Sales Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE): Continuous improvement of sales processes and reporting including:
CRM enhancements
Sales programs and platforms
Selling skills training in partnership with sales directorLead / support cross functional projects including:
Launch preparation – Business cases, KOL and stakeholder engagement, forecasting, local representation on global projects, etc.
Health economics and pricing strategies, including negotiation with health bodies.Go to market (GTM) strategy: Develop GTM strategies, particularly in opportunity areas including hospitals, tenders, aged care and for new products.Support the Territory Business Managers with compelling category insights and overviews to gain incremental support.What you need for success: Degree in Business / Marketing or relevant qualification5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with proven experience in project management and strong understanding of industry, payment pathways and ability to work through these.Ability to interpret, analyse data sets (IQVIA, IRI, Nielsen)Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy.Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in AustraliaWhat we can offer you: Competitive Salary, Flexible working environment, Incentive program, Health & Fitness benefit TO ALL RECRUITMENT AGENCIES: Ascensia does not accept unsolicited third-party resumes.
