Band 5 - Salary range $104,284 - $147,238 per annum (plus super)
An exciting opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Commercial team for a Commercial Contracts Specialist.
Located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's Northern Suburbs, the role will provide high level commercial support over the full contract life-cycle.
The Commercial Contracts Specialist will manage the suite of contracts that support the development and approval phase of each new project, bringing an innovative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. The role will manage the capture and documentation of key project deliverables and also provide support to evaluation panels including advice and document control.
The role will be accountable for providing support in procurement strategy development and implementation for large projects from market research through to final contract negotiations and subsequent contract management including probity risk. The role will assist and lead contract management and administration of project related minor contracts and assist other members of the project teams in managing contracts effectively.
About you We are looking for a contract star with a broad understanding of key commercial principles in capital project development and delivery within fast-paced, large scale and complex stakeholder environments.
You will have knowledge of relevant commercial, procurement and contract frameworks and principles for large and complex projects, including contract administration and management. You will have both experience and knowledge of the commercial, procurement and contractual requirements for a large infrastructure project, preferably transmission.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications that include Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce/Law or significant experience in a similar role including large project experience. Previous experience in utilities/energy will be highly regarded.
