This Opportunity Collaborating closely with our procurement team, the Operational Contract Advisor will provide expert guidance on the development, administration, and management of contracts, ensuring best practices are followed throughout all steps of negotiation, service supply and contract renewal.
Key Accountabilities Support the operations teams in managing contracts to meet organisation goals, Ensure all contracted services comply with WHS legislative requirements, Support contract negotiations, including extensions, variations, terminations and renewals. Facilitate the engagement of key stakeholders to define and implement the scope of work for new or modified contracts, Collaborate with stakeholders on resolutions involving legal and regulatory requirements, contract standards, service needs and cost targets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape contract management practices at TasWater ensuring the smooth operation and success of critical projects and works.
The Details This is a permanent full-time position that can be based in Devonport, Launceston or Hobart.
In this position you have opportunities to work from home, from our operational sites and have the flexibility in working hours that allow you to use your expertise while also doing the things that matter to you.
This position attracts an hourly rate of $42.77 during probation, then $45.15 once successfully completed.
