PPS Water Group are seeking an experienced

Commercial & Contracts Manager

to oversee and manage the financial and contractual aspects of our projects.

As a Commercial & Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of contracts, managing risks, and ensuring financial sustainability.
Your leadership will guide the business in negotiating favourable contract terms, tracking costs, and maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships that support the company's growth.
You will work closely with project managers to ensure smooth project execution while proactively identifying risks and driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract & Commercial Management:

Negotiate terms of contracts, manage financial controls, and ensure contract compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify risks in projects and contracts, developing strategies to mitigate and avoid them.

Stakeholder Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial engagements.

Leadership:

Supervise project control staff, ensure team performance, and support commercial strategies aligned with business goals.

Project Oversight:

Support the bid phase, track project costs, implement changes as needed, and ensure handover of accurate financial status.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement, share learnings, and update procedures to enhance project and commercial success.

Key Skills and Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 year's experience in commercial and contract management roles within the mining or construction industry.

Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and financial controls.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

In-depth understanding of industry-specific statutory requirements and regulatory standards.
