As we prepare to scale and bring our cutting-edge technology to market, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Co-Founder with a strong commercial background in residential energy storage to join our dynamic team.Role Overview: As a Co-Founder with a commercial background, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our company. You will leverage your industry expertise and business acumen to drive market penetration, forge strategic partnerships, and secure funding. Your primary focus will be on commercial operations, including sales, marketing, business development, and regulatory compliance, to ensure the successful launch and growth of our innovative energy storage solutions.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the founding team to develop and execute the company's business strategy, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and company goals.Market Development: Identify and evaluate market opportunities, trends, and customer needs in the residential energy storage sector. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.Sales and Partnerships: Lead the development and management of key customer relationships and strategic partnerships. Negotiate and close deals with residential solar installers, utility companies, and other stakeholders.Fundraising: Play a key role in fundraising activities, including preparing business plans, pitches, and investor presentations. Build and maintain relationships with potential investors and financial partners.Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards. Ensure the company's products and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Team Building: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Qualifications:Experience: Proven track record (5+ years) in a senior commercial role within the residential energy storage or renewable energy industry. Previous experience as a founder or co-founder is a plus.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the residential electricity and energy storage market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.Business Acumen: Strong business development, sales, and marketing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.Fundraising: Experience in fundraising and investor relations, with a strong network of contacts in the investment community.Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve ambitious goals.Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
