Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 per year + Super + Vehicle
Are you a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in commercial cleaning and facilities management, combined with sales expertise and a passion for service excellence?
Joss Facility Management is seeking a dynamic Commercial Cleaning Manager to lead our commercial operations, generate and manage client accounts, and drive business growth while maintaining the highest cleaning standards across a wide range of industries.
You will be a key leader responsible for managing day-to-day operations of our commercial clients, overseeing employees and subcontractors to ensure that all services meet our client's high standards and expectations.
You'll be tasked with driving business development, managing client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in all areas.
Key Responsibilities: Account Management & Client Relations: Build, manage, and grow client relationships by providing excellent service and communication.
Ensure regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality.Sales & Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including active participation in tender submissions.
Provide estimates and quotes for additional services, driving sales growth and expansion.Operational Leadership: Lead and support your team of supervisors, cleaners, and subcontractors across various commercial sites, overseeing recruitment, training, and ongoing development to meet high service standards.Site Startups & Subcontractor Management: Manage new site startups, appoint competent staff, and ensure smooth operations from the start.Client Liaison & Site Inspections: Conduct daily inspections and liaise with clients to ensure that cleaning operations run seamlessly, and clients' expectations are exceeded.Budget & Reporting: Manage all cost areas, ensuring adherence to budget expectations, track operational performance, and ensure accuracy.Staff Development & Problem Solving: Coach and develop staff and subcontractors, addressing performance issues and solving operational problems as they arise.Brand Management: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Joss and ensuring a positive reputation in the market.You Will: Lead the Operations Team: Oversee daily service delivery and client retention across your portfolio.Cost Management: Ensure cost-effective service delivery, pricing, and profitability.Build Relationships: Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts.Troubleshoot Issues: Handle escalated complaints and operational issues, providing solutions quickly.Support Projects: Collaborate with the leadership team on significant projects.Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant legislation.What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning or experience in a similar managerial role.Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.Sales & CRM: A solid track record in business development.Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Customer-focused with strong service skills.
Ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate effectively.Autonomy & Reliability: Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example.Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, budgeting, and the ability to provide accurate quotes for additional services.
