Here at Lion, we are searching for our next Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain to join our Finance Team in Sydney, reporting into our Finance Manager – Supply Chain. You will play an important role in driving efficient planning and reporting, as well as business partnering to provide governance and commercial insight to enable better decisions and manage business performance. You will work closely with finance and Supply Chain stakeholders, providing an excellent opportunity to develop both your soft skills and knowledge of a core part of Lion's business. The position is full time and hybrid, which means you'll have the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
A day in the life Conduct analysis and provide commercial insights to support value-adding decision-makingDeliver quality forecasting, analysis, insight generation and reportingIdentify risks and opportunities that could impact commercial performanceEnsure timely, accurate and insightful management of the P&L and balance sheetIdentify and implement system and process improvements.What you'll bring Strong data and analytical modelling and system skillsExperience generating and sharing value-adding insightsA record of delivering system and process improvement initiativesDemonstrated relationship-building skillsTertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting/FinanceAn accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) or working towards3+ years postgraduate experienceExperience working for a large consumer goods company in a commercial finance role supporting supply chain and manufacturing (experience in an alcoholic beverages company would be a major advantage).At Lion, we offer 'growth on tap' and you'll get hooked on reaching higher with each new challenge.
