About the Role Reporting to the General Manager Commercial – Supply Chain, the Commercial Analyst is responsible for the analysis and reporting of key financial measures and performance indicators to drive Insights-to-value.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in the data collection and review to support budget development and planning financials, as well as delivering regular forecasts within the SRG's Supply Chain area.
In addition, this role will support key business leaders in understanding their ongoing performance against budget and forecasts, and analysis & insights into key drivers.
This role is ideally based at Strathpine in Brisbane (hybrid work model) but we would also be open to candidates located in either Sydney or Melbourne.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in a Commercial Analyst capacity within Supply Chain area with strong skills in financial analysis & insights development Ability to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Excel Financial modelling and financial / budget management skills Tertiary Qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business and working towards or have completed CPA, ACA or CIMA (desirable) Experience working in the retail sector is desirable but not required.
Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong customer focus will be key to this role.
