Job Description Reporting to the GM Commercial your responsibilities will include:
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the Marine Solutions sector.Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.Analyse commercial performance metrics and provide insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.Support the development of pricing strategies and revenue optimisation plans.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.Proven experience as a Commercial Analyst, preferably within the Marine, Oil & Gas, Resources, Defence, or Services industries.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
