What you'll do
Collaborate in strategic thinking with Network Design and Transport Design teams to solve strategic problems and unlock optimisation opportunities within our transport network.
Develop transport hypothesis testing using the Network Design modelling platform for accurate analysis and reporting.
Propose timely transport network solutions to support new distribution centre (DC) builds and other network changes.
Create accurate transport models representing current and alternative options.
Deliver well-documented & accurate business cases.
Present and communicate meaningful insights & results, recommendations and commentary to appropriate stakeholders including senior leadership teams.
Manage cross-functional relationships to gather information, standardise design approaches, and provide data analysis for tenders and carrier selection.
What you'll bring
Experience as a Commercial & Modelling Analyst with business case development experience for a large & complex Supply Chain / Transport business
Experience in quantitative business modelling / operational modelling within a transport operations environment
A test and learn mindset is key, with an ability to think clearly about the underlying business problems and to consultatively recommend data-driven approaches to solving them.
Experience driving insights from data and presenting the findings with recommendations to different sets of stakeholders.
Experience in collaborating with others and working in a team to achieve outcomes
Ability to adapt in fast-paced & ambiguous environments
MS Office / Google Suite with advanced Excel skills
SQL proficient, skilled in manipulating data & deriving insights
