Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm.An exciting role now exists within our Productivity & Realisation team for a Commercial Analyst with strong business acumen, report writing, analytical and teamwork skills.The Commercial Analyst is responsible for proactively supporting the team by providing timely and high-quality financial analysis, information and advice for our legal and client-facing teams.Key responsibilities:Assisting with financial activities including budget/forecast preparation, management reporting, development of legal business plans and ongoing reviewsProactively identify areas for improving quality, productivity and increasing profitabilityMonitor productivity including lawyer utilisation and leverage across the firm and assist in redirecting resources to where they are most neededAssisting with pricing and matter plans of major pitchesAssist with the provision of accurate, timely and useable reports to key stakeholders.Undertake financial modelling and analysis, including data mining and reconciliationRequired skills and experience:At least 2-3 years experience in a similar FPA role gained ideally within a professional services firmStrong business acumen and ability to build rapport with partners and other stakeholdersExceptional attention to detail and analytical skillsAdvanced technical skills including MS Office (Excel & Access) and confidence with preparation of reportsAt Corrs, we help you achieve your ambition - at every stage of your career.About us:Corrs Chambers Westgarth is Australia's leading independent law firm.
