The position creates value for Arrow through the management of contractual rights and obligations under key agreements.
This role assists in allowing Arrow to satisfy stakeholder needs whilst maximising long term economic and strategic interests.This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.In addition, you will:Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of energy and other commodity contracts in the Commercial portfolio and all relevant energy market laws, thereby contributing to the optimisation of gross margin whilst complying with internal and external regulatory requirements.Administer existing and new Commercial agreements, across all of Commercial's contract portfolio to ensure Arrow maximises value through a proper understanding of rights and obligations and liaise with Arrow's Legal department when required.Update and maintain Commercial management systems including document management and risk management systems (eg.
Cority) to ensure accuracy of information and correct coding, entry, operation and settlement of contracts to support compliance with contract terms, Arrow policy and regulations.As directed by the Commercial Manager, provide specialised support or advice to the VP Commercial team or wider business in areas of particular business focus.About YouYou will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:A tertiary degree in a finance, legal or engineering discipline.Contract Management – at least 3 years' experience managing/administering the performance of contracts.Stakeholder Management – at least 3 years' experience in the development and maintenance of effective relationships with external stakeholders and ability to achieve outcomes through negotiation.Highly developed written skills in preparing business reports and presentations.Knowledge of domestic gas and electricity markets.Solid technical understanding of the Australian East Coast Gas and Electricity Markets is desirable.If you're excited about this role however don't meet all the criteria, we would still love to hear from you anyway.
