Job Description About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from home with only one day required in the office each week. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time (4 days a week), we can accommodate your needs.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be an all-rounder responsible for supporting the transactional and financial reporting elements of the finance function. You'll use your excellent problem-solving abilities and can-do attitude to assist the team to meet its financial objectives.
Key Activities
The key responsibilities include:
Accounts Receivable Prepare and send accurate and timely invoices to customers. Communicate with customers via emails and calls to ensure prompt payment of invoices. Investigate and resolve billing disputes or discrepancies raised by customers, collaborating with relevant internal departments to address and rectify issues. Maintenance of aged debtors report. Month end balance sheet reconciliations and adjustment journals. Maintenance of intercompany matrix and FX adjustments. Review customer payment receipting, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and accounts payable transactions prepared by outsourced accounts officer. Preparation of BAS for AU & NZ. Assist with year-end audit. Support finance department through various ad-hoc projects. Desired Skills and Experience About You
We are seeking the following:
Proven experience in accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prior experience with month-end processes and supporting year-end audits. Experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central is beneficial but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work autonomously and comfortable working from home as part of our hybrid arrangements. The Perks
