Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for project management and financial acumen? We now have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and highly skilled College Operations Officer to join our College of Healthcare Sciences.
Full time continuing role | 36.25 hr work week Based on our Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville in picturesque tropical North Queensland. Remuneration is $102,460 - $117,657 plus up to 17% superannuation contributions, leave loading and generous employee benefits. WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE Reporting to the Director, Divisional Operations, you will ensure our financial health by offering expert financial management advice and supporting budgeting and forecasting in line with our performance goals. You'll be the driving force behind transparent communication, keeping senior leaders and stakeholders informed about our operations and projects.
Building strategic relationships both within and outside the College, you'll advocate for our interests and meet governance requirements. Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing safety, financial, operational, and reputational risks, ensuring compliance with University governance and reporting standards. Additionally, you'll actively contribute to streamlining our processes for delivering top-notch services.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE You will be experienced in providing high level strategic and business planning, project management and subject matter expertise within a large and complex organisation. Utilising your demonstrated experience with financial, business and strategic planning, you will provide financial forecasts, plans and reports and implement business development strategies to meet operational and strategic objectives.
With an ambition to provide high-level support and advice to a diverse range of stakeholders, you will have experience in effectively communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds.
