As our highly valued Collections Officer based in Brisbane, you are the first point of contact for customers with overdue or overlimit accounts. You liaise directly with our customers on the phone or via email, creating and implementing solutions to cure account arrears with the Great Southern Bank Purpose of Helping all Australians own their own home at the front of mind.You'll make an impact by:Regularly contact and negotiate solutions with customers with diplomacy and compassion.Monitor, review and action accounts assigned to you.Identify hardship triggers and refer customers for a discussion with the Financial Assistance Team where indicated.To succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience in collections for a bank or other consumer lender.Previous experience managing accounts with arrears 90+ days is advantageous.Sound knowledge of retail financial services, including knowledge of relevant principles & legislation (Privacy Act, NCCP, Bankruptcy Act, Debt Collection Guidelines).Why Great Southern Bank?Whatever your role with us, you'll be part of a force for good.
