Develop your specialist subacute clinical trauma/spinal rehabilitation, leadership, and service development knowledge & skills. Work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a geographical environment supporting your lifestyle. Full time, 12-month parental leave backfill position available. About the role
We are seeking applications from experienced Grade 2 occupational therapists to join our community of over 160 occupational therapists to work across the continuum of care in clinical specialties suited to their clinical experience. We have several Grade 2 OT parental leave backfill contracts currently advertising including roles in Acute Emergency/General Medical, Inpatient Rehab Spinal Trauma, Community Rehab Neuro teams, mental health, and casual roles.
These roles open doors to many other internal opportunities for ongoing employment in other areas including acute, inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation, community health, child and family health, and mental health settings in the clinical specialties of orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, neuro rehabilitation, geriatric evaluative management (GEM), trauma, paediatrics & mental health.
Our Grade 2 occupational therapists lead their work area and are well supported by accessible expert clinical, student educator, education & training, and research senior clinicians for supervision, joint sessions, specialty clinical training, student supervision training, and allied health leadership training.
Inclusion in a weekend and public holiday roster in bed-based services with additional financial rewards with pay and leave for weekend work.
