21st March, 2024 Imagine your future with us At ALS, we encourage you to dream big.   When you join ALS, you join a purpose and values-driven team that empowers you to innovate, create, and thrive.   Our global team turns up each day with passion and commitment to do amazing things, always challenging our thinking to find ways to solve some of the world's most complex problems for a safer, healthier world.   The day to day ALS Coal is looking for Coal Quality Testers based at our Biloela / Callide site.   This Full-Time role will include duties within the Physical Testing and Analytical Laboratory.   Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your daily duties will include: Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and to agreed standard operating instructions Ensuring that all work complies with national and international standards Checking and validating all results to ensure that they are within repeatability tolerances Transfer validated results into the reporting system Maintain the laboratory and its equipment according to company standards A range of physical tests, including sample preparation, crushing, dividing and sample storage Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.    As part of the selection process, a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol assessment, is required.
