CNC Machinists and Manual Mill And Lathe Operators Needed We are currently looking for CNC operators and manual mill and lathe operators for a leading commercial/industrial manufacturer known for their quality machinery supplying to for various markets.
Having taken on new contracts they require CNC Machinists and a Manual Mill and Lathe Operator to join the team.
Job details $45-$55 Per Hour + Penalties, Overtime, Allowances Monday to Friday - 6:30am - 2:30pm with overtime available Afternoon shift on offer, 3pm-11pm Located in Marsden and Archerfield Multiple roles on offer: CNC Machinists, Manual Mill And Lathe Operator Key Responsibilities Reading specifications outlined in drawings to accurately produce parts.
Preparing the milling machine or lathe for operation by securing workpieces, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and adjusting machine settings such as speed and feed rate.
Occasional general fitting work across range of unique machinery Using manual controls to mill or turn workpieces to the required dimensions and surface finish, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the process.
Regularly checking the operation of the machines to ensure they are running smoothly and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Requirements: Qualified Machinist with 5+ years experience Proficiency in operating CNC or Manual Mill/Lathe machines Ability to read a variety of technical drawings Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience programming and using FANUC is highly regarded, but not required due to a variety of software, depending on the division.
