Role Overview
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce parts that meet strict quality standards. You will work independently, using both software and hardware, to conduct tests, inspections, and repairs as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, excellent computer skills, and the physical stamina necessary for the role.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy. Conduct regular quality checks and machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Requirements
Must have Australian recognised Trade 5+ years trade experience preferred Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
