Join our team at the Northern Beaches Hospital Mental Health Service We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CNC1 Intake Clinician with strong customer service skills to join our Mental Health team at the Northern Beaches Hospital. As the central point of contact for our In-patient and Day programs, you will provide a timely, responsive, and proactive intake service to potential clients, their families, and key stakeholders.
Our Service includes the Mental Health Private Stream - The Northern Beaches Clinic, Ward 3D 'Older Persons' Mental Health, and Day Program. As an Intake Clinician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of clients into our services.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the centralized intake point for all initial referrals and inquiries Conduct thorough assessments to determine suitability for admission Develop and maintain expertise in health fund contract content, rates, and rules Provide education, coaching, and training to team members Lead and manage quality improvement and practice/process enhancement projects Requirements: Current Registration with AHPRA Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Minimum 5 years' full-time postgraduate experience, with at least 3 years in the mental health field Approved postgraduate qualification relevant to mental health (or relevant field) or equivalent experience About Northern Beaches Hospital Northern Beaches Hospital offers world-class, Level 5 delineation services catering to both public and private patients. If you are successful in securing the role, your salary will be determined based on your relevant experience against the current Healthscope Agreement.
