Job details 8/6 roster Site based 24 month duration About our client: Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets.
These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.
Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.
About the Role: WorkPac are seeking experienced Construction Supervisors to join the team at Rio Tinto based in Dampier.
This role offers an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth for a 24 month duration.
Key duties and responsibilities: Work with and coach contract partners in the application of risk assessment tools.
JHA, Take 5 , SWP and critical risk management tools Perform safety leadership coaching with a focus in critical risk management through infield verification Attend internal and external contract partners daily ritual meetings E.g., Pre-starts, HSE meetings, Planning and lessons learnt sessions Responsible for issue & monitoring of workpermits Manage the engagement and performance of external contractor and suppliers.
Monitor partners compliance with the CMS terms and conditions, KPIs Work collaboratively to deliver the best outcome for the business through internal and external stake holder engagement Provide business context in a meeting environment.
