A little about Black Pepper's Cluster Manager role: Reporting to the Area Manager, you as Black Pepper's Cluster Manager (Tasmania) will be supporting our TAS stores (Hobart, Devonport, Launceston, and Burnie).
You will be based in the Hobart store to provide guidance to your team and Store Managers.
What will you do as our Cluster Manager? Oversee 4 stores to provide a level of customer interaction that goes beyond the sale, excellent people management, visual merchandise management, and effective control of inventory. Develop and implement tactical plans, providing the leadership necessary to deliver outstanding customer service through driving, coaching, and mentoring your team. Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by recommending strategies to improve performance across sales, staff, stock, and systems. Performance Management through achieving goal setting and KPI targets.
Ensure staff are aware, supported, and trained to deliver on team budgets and KPIs. Nurture the growth and development of your direct reports to create a talent pipeline within our retail network. Prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets. Manage any escalated store or customer complaints promptly and professionally. Be confident managing all aspects of the employee life-cycle. Assist with recruitment. We're looking for someone that has: Previous Cluster Management experience in the retail space. Proven track record of delivering results, driving sales, and engaging your team, with expert knowledge of KPIs. Great people management skills; a thorough understanding of performance management. An ability to analyse data, act efficiently, and make calculated business decisions. Interest in thinking 'outside the box' to improve and maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of our market. A passion for customers, and ability to organise and engage in internal and external events. Good active listening skills, providing an inclusive and supportive environment for the team and peers. The ability to think on your feet and move with a sense of urgency. Availability to work a rotating Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday roster.
