Job Description As a ClouOps Engineer you will manage and maintain AWS cloud environments underlying high-performance applications. Troubleshoot AWS services, clusters, and ASGs: EC2, OpenSearch, S3, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate/Docker, Step Functions, IAM, AWS ecosystem, clusters, and networking/VPC.
You will Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
You will maintain and improve microservices/Lambda applications in Python, Angular, and Java.
As an SME, you will analyse and resolve issues related to AWS services, Python, Angular, and Java applications. Investigate performance bottlenecks and connectivity issues. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Qualifications Prior experience in a similar role is essential Strong knowledge of AWS.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Ability to troubleshoot Python code.
Solid understanding of Lambda functions and microservices architecture.
Experience with the majority of AWS services, clusters, and ASGs: EC2, OpenSearch, S3, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate/Docker, Step Functions, IAM.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git and GitHub.
Experience with OpenSearch for search and analytics.
Adequate knowledge of Angular for front-end development.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to the AWS ecosystem, clusters, networking, IAM, and VPC.
Ability to write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and the ELK Stack.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Nice to have: Knowledge and experience of Java, Knowledge and experience with .NET and C#.
