You will work directly with AWS, Azure, Lacework, Mend, and SonarQube to build and secure cloud environments. This role involves deep technical engagement, focusing on hands-on engineering while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and secure cloud architecture on AWS and Azure, utilizing tools like Lacework, Mend, and SonarQube for continuous security and compliance.Develop and maintain secure cloud solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and organizational security policies through hands-on implementation.Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals, applying tools like Lacework, Mend, and SonarQube to enhance cloud security practices and defenses.Directly implement security measures that ensure cloud environments comply with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, FedRAMP) and manage associated risks.Contribute hands-on to the development and execution of disaster recovery and incident response strategies for cloud environments.Play an active role in preparing for and addressing security audits, ensuring cloud environments meet all necessary security standards.Engage with various teams, including cloud engineering, to ensure that secure and scalable cloud solutions are implemented securely.Provide hands-on technical leadership in cloud security, staying updated on the latest tools and best practices to continually enhance Nuix's cloud security posture.Mentor junior team members in cloud security engineering practices, fostering a hands-on, security-focused culture within the team.Contribute to the overall cybersecurity strategy through hands-on engineering, ensuring cloud security is integrated into broader security initiatives.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.Hands-on experience in designing, building, and securing cloud architecture on AWS and Azure, with deep knowledge of Lacework, Mend, and SonarQube (or comparable tools).Strong understanding and hands-on experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2, FedRAMP) and risk management in cloud environments.Proven ability to engage in hands-on engineering, designing secure cloud solutions, and collaborating effectively across teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Hands-on experience with security audits and assessments, particularly in cloud environments.Demonstrated hands-on experience working as part of a cybersecurity team, with a focus on cloud security engineering.Previous experience in a technology or software company is highly desirable.Nuix is on an incredible journey of transformation, aligning our strengths with our ambitions to pursue greater opportunities.
